Replaced the front passenger side heated 02 sensor today. I was dreading doing from below but after some conferences with Mr. Google, I realized the ‘04 model 02 sensor is easily accessible from the wheel well. After the wheel came off it took about 10 minutes. P0051 code erased, test driven and all clear.

Gorilla Glue makes a heavy duty, clear tape that would be perfect for this application. Not that anyone can really see up there anyways, but you'll see the tape looking up through the sunroof if that kind of thing bothers you at all.

That looks great!

Do you not catch heat for having a lightbar on when on public roads, let alone not having it covered? They are real jerks about that kind of stuff around here.

hard to tell right now since they were installed this past Saturday however im hoping i wont have any issues. Why would they be jerks about that if you dont turn them on though? Just curious. Also regarding covers, with the amount of room (or lack of) my cover doesnt fit anymore

Writing tickets around here is all about the $afety, need to be really careful about keeping everything legal. You could drive a rusted out ****box and never get hassled, but anything that is modified seems to have a target on its back.

Default Towed this travel trailer home.

So not sure how much it weighed at the time I towed it, but the sticker says 6k dry weight, and up to 10500lbs loaded. All the tanks are empty, nothing being stored inside. The GX held its own pretty darn good, although I don’t see myself putting it through this type of wear and tear on it on a normal basis. I kept it in out of 5 gear/ OD per Lexus’s recommendations, I could definitely feel the load, nothing to crazy, kept it at 60MPH, the P3 brake controller really helped coming to a stop. Also, my friend let me have his hitch that bolts right in to 03-08 GX470 frame, before he traded his 2018 4Runner, it was a perfect match.

No real mods to it; Magnaflow exhaust, P3 tekonsha brake controller, LED head bulbs throughout, recently did the water pump, radiator, timing belt, and all drive train oils. Currently at 150k miles, got it with 85k miles about 5 years ago. It’s never given me a problem, other than the radiator leaking.

Installed LED low beam bulbs. Not as bright as I expected, but still brighter than stock halogens. Anyone has LEDs installed? Does it look like as bright as it should be?

They look bright, but possibly aimed a bit low? Hard to tell what the parking lot is like from the pics though, maybe it's just sitting nose down a bit?

Yeah, the nose is sitting down a bit. When I have a chance to drive in the dark, I'll check how far it lights up the road.

Thank you.

Being bright is only a small part of it, putting light where you need it is a bigger part of it.
