Congrats on your purchase.
Are you sure the seller didn't already have it taken care of? If not and you are under warranty more then likely the dealer will not perform the recall if your truck is not exhibiting symptoms.
That said, even if it does develop at some point, it's your call whether you get it fixed or not, it depending on how much it bothers you. I will tell you it's not a cheap fix. There is no harm to your truck if you don't get it done, it can just be nuisance is all.

I just bought an '06 in january and had the following addressed:
clunk
mirror dip
blown speaker
now she runs like a top and will be getting her spring professional detail later this month. should have her absolutely perfect for summer. only thing left on the to-do list is an audio solution.

My dealer did it with no symptoms. They did not do the control arms, just the driveshaft. I would call your dealer and tell them you feel a bump when you stop and in your research you came across the TSB. Mine did it gladly. It's reasons like that I will be getting my next ride from them. NO hassles ever.
Consider it preventative maint and get it done if your dealer is willing. I think the TSB expires 7 years or 75K miles after it's in service date FYI.
