I bought a 2003 GX 470 from my brother (50,200 miles). I went to U hall and had their hitch installed. They had no adapters to fit the square connector with 2 spades male over two spades male or the 4 spades male connector in a line next to it. I looked at Sewell and they had and adapter
that converts to a round 5 way plug in about $200. All my boat and trailer have is the standard 4 plug for trailers. Is there a simple way to marry into whats there .

try ebay... a quick search revealed this for $50: which already has the 7pin and the 4pin.

Otherwise, if you have the OEM hook up it is a 7-pin (typical for class III/IV + trailer). Then all you'll need to pick up is a ~ $15 7 to 4 pin converter.

Thanks so much, I went to it and it looks like it will work, the Lexus dealer was
in the dark about it.
