Haven't heard of anyone lowering their gx.
Considering that the rear is air suspension and front is not, that's going to be interesting.

You might be able to lower the rear by tricking the height sensor (like most air suspension cars)-don't ask me b/c I don't know how

I believe Pearlpower is looking into lowering the gx

Have you checked the 4runner forums?

BTW, have you posted pictures of your new rims?

Most people raise their 4runner, not lower it. Lowering a GX is like putting a lift kit on a GS, its not commonly done, but to each his own.

But do the 4runners have air suspension in the rear also?
the rims im still iffy about, im going 24s without a doubt, but my neighbors rims got stolen like 2 weeks ago, he had a benz s550 on GFGs and they were gone one morning, so i don't know if to go high end or stay with some normal ones

The rear air suspension is a option on the 4runner limited.

I've actually been contemplating swapping the rear air springs for coils, similar to what a few 4runner owners have done with their XTREAS equipped trucks. I believe they are using an OME kit made for the Prado? I really do not like the rear suspension on our GX's, as I find that it bottom's out far too easily; hence the swap.

You could contact OME through their ARB US distributor to see if they could custom make you some springs, and likewise see if their shocks will work with lower springs. Be prepared to take a lot of flack, as they are cobblers of hard-core off-road paraphenalia; hence, lowering a GX would be akin to blashphemy for them.
