Is it me or does the Nav screen not dim at night when you turn the headlights on? Is there a way to do this, or do I just have some setting not set right. Any help would be welcome. Thanks.

There is a night setting option on the nav but that didn't do anything for me. I hope someone has the answer.

At night it will switch from a white background to a dark back ground. This is controlled by the dash dimmer control, lower left of the steering wheel. If turned all the ways up it disables the change over. If turned down a little the background switch will happen when the headlights switch on.

Thanks for the heads up. That fixed the problem. The other thing I just found out is it has to be dark out for it to dim the gauges and nav when you turn the headlights on. If you put your hand over the little dark redish dome on the dash above the gauges, it will trick the system into thinking it is night and then it will dim the screen and gauges.
