Our GX470 was in today for 5000 mi check. We have been having the sulphur smell problem and after being told we needed to switch gas and use premium and the other bs they give you, I pressed them on the issue and was told that there was in fact a new TSB (not the one that says Lexus will not pay for oxygen sensor) that requires replacing the catalytic. Has anyone else had this done and if someone has seen the TSB, I would love to see it.

This sulphur smell issue must be a regional gasoline mixture thing because the GXs out here in Nevada dont have that problem. I have four friends that have GXs and none of us have that smell.

is it da gas? then which brand do we avoid? cuz i dnt have it and i've used almost every brand in my gx

tony its on the 03 builds.. my new 04 doesnt do it ... yet .. unless it starts but my old one did it bad.. its just under heavy accleration

Actually, we have the 04 E Build and have the Sulphur problem. Even occurs during moderate acceleration.
