XM Radio
Here is the auxiliary switch Sound Solutions installed in a previously unused dummy button. The swich allows three modes as follows: Left: Allows iPOD input; Center: CD Player overrides XM Radio; Right: XM Radio overrides the CD Player. Sound Solutions wired the XM Radio into the CD Player. I have to have a CD playing in the changer and can then toggle back and forth between the CD and XM Radio. The sound quality is excellent. The only down side is that there is a slight difference in the volume levels. The XM Radio needs to be turned up louder than the CD player for best sound quality. I have to remember to turn the volumn down a little when I switch to the CD. This is a minor inconvenience...

I am very happy with the install. Sound Solutions is located in Chantilly VA. Total cost for parts and labor was $840.00. It took them about 6 hours to install. I rarely use my FM radio now. My favorite channel is 150 (Comedy).

XM radio pics
So Chip, how do we get a pic into the email? I uploaded to the gallery, but cannot find the handle to use HTML tagging? My profile says HTML enabled, but the this post form says it is not.
Advice?

Barefoot Chip,
Great pics! Thanks for sharing them with us. I had not pursued this idea as suggestions usually involved velcro and wires exposed.
Thanks again!
