Just got around to installing the kit. All I can say is WOW! Brings back memories of the SC @ night. Props go to Xenondepot.com for a very, very well thought out, truely plug and play system. I have comfort knowing my wife and son can see clearly at night.

Tony, thanks for the excellent installation instructions and pics. Installed the Xenondepot 6000k kit on my GX with absolutely no problems...a true plug and play setup. The results are outstanding.

Default Legal?

Quick question:

Are these HIDs street legal for GX and will the installation of them void the GX warranty in any way? Does anyone know? Thanks.

Default void the GX warranty in any way

void the GX warranty in any way - These bulbs can't void the warranty, they do not impact any aspect of the vehicle. Dealer will tell you differently, but there are state/federal laws that protect you and your warranty. I have had then in for several months and the service department loves them too!

These HIDs are not street legal, otherwise you could buy them in an auto parts store. Worst case is that you might get a fix-it ticket some day, but not likely. Due to the fact that the GX has projection lens and this creates a cut-off of light at the trunk level of cars, we will be safe from any OFFICERS. Now if you are drinking, speeding, and running stop signs, you run a higher chance of a fix-it-ticket for the

Just e-mail Xenondepot and tell them you are from the clublexus board and that Tony said there was a promotion code and he will give you the new code for us. Clublexus members always get a discount.

Im glad everyone is liking their HID kits. Love driving my GX at night with these on.

Default Anyone else having a problem with surge when powering on?

I posted this before. Is anyone else having a problem with a surge when turning the lights on? I have a K40 Undetectible Radar Detector and when turning on the bulbs the radard detector reinitializes with its 7 or 8 beeps. So anytime I flash my high beams during the day, or as soon as the head lights go on I get this annoying beep.

I have had no problems relating to my HID kit. Works so much like OEM that I forget I installed them.

Default Hey Steve

Awesome to have you as a sponsor. I've been trying to spread the word without getting in trouble but now your a sponsor you can spread the word. Nice to see ya on the board. My next project is the fog lights turning those into HIDS do you know if the bulbs are 9005 or 9006 and are these kits plug and play like the H11 kits?

For the new GX owners that are wanting HID light kits Steve is the guy to buy from.
