Thanks, GXonDUBS....They look even better in person. The wheels are FOOSE SPANK 6 22". The tires are TOYO 265/40R22 PROXES S/T. They don't rub and the ride is great...SMOOOOTH!

jacksonian - they dont have any pictures published as of yet. The lexus.com accessory page still shows the DIO RX 330 wheels (alloy_wheels.jpg). They need a kick in the *** on their accessory page imo.

They look almost identical to the RX 330 'standard' 18" Rim - just with an extra spoke.

could email anyone a picture if you want, PM me

Here is a pic of the new GX wheels. I like them!

Only wished there was a 18" or 19" option, though.

Sheldon.

Default 0260n5.7

0260n5.7, those HRE look great; I've been looking around the web for weeks to decide on a set for my new GX. Can you tell me what type/size of tire you picked to fit on those HRE's? and more importantly do they rub at all?

My plan is to mount full winter tires on the factory rims and get another set (19~20") to run from Spring to fall. they might hit some snow and ice and the occasional mountain pass during these summer months so I would need a more all-season type tire for them.

nice look

Tom.

TRD has a 18" BBS fitment for the 4Runner now that should fit the GX too, FYI!

Thanks, but I think my heart is set on 19 to 20" rims.

TRD,

Thanks. They are 20X9.5 HRE 648R Full polish w/clearcoat. Tires are 295/45X20 Pirelli Scorpion Zero. No rubbing at all.

Default Optional wheel choice

Just got my BLACK ONYX GX yesterday with the factory installed 6 spoke ($329) dealer optional alloy wheels. Love em (digital camera on the fritz)...as opposed to the picture posted earlier in this thread, they are a darker, more burnished, deep grey, instead of the brochure pic which has them appearing to be a lighter, silverish color.

These are on the standard 17' tires, which frankly, are needing some serious work after yesterday's midwest weather! Nothing like getting a new truck on a day where you have freezing rain/sleet and a city full of pothole's and road rut...

You California & Texas dudes, count yourselves lucky with the beautiful roads you get to drive on!

Solomoan,
Please take some pictures when you get a chance. I have a black GX and would love to see what those wheels look like.

Beautiful roads?!?! I wish! California is ranked something like 49 out of 50 for road quality (how, when every road seems to have been under construction in the past 5 years, I don't know!). I practically offroad every day I drive to work with all the cracks, ruts and potholes! Makes me love my GX, but makes driving my Acura on rubberband 35 series tires a little dicey. I just make sure to go fast enough to float over them

But, yes, at least we don't have to deal with the ice and sleet.

But back to the subject... congrats on the purchase. I would also love to see pics of the new wheels. I have the darker Ash Blue GX and most pics I have seen with new wheels are on the lighter colors.

Default Will do...

I need the digital camera in working order & wifey back in town from business to help me.

Also had great success last night in "de badging" the tailgate. The "V8", "GX470" and "LEXUS" emblems all came off beautifully with the hairdryer/dental floss routine! (20 minutes & 2 beers). Will take a pic of this also.

Used the Zaino Bros "Perfect Tire Gloss" treatment and didn't have any "fling" noticeable this morning on the drive to work.

Thanks for all of the helpful comments from CL members!

Default Yep...

Just the "L" logo in the center. Have already had 2 neophytes in our firm parking garage ask "what in the world is that?", not being familiar with the logo.
