Sucks to hear you have even more problems than I do. At least my side buttons work. In fact this is the only way we can change the temperature for the HVAC. If you CAN return it do it immediately. I’m regretting not doing it. We hate this thing. At this point I just want the original NAV+ML factory stuff back in it so I can install the GROM unit. The one in my 460 works ok enough that I’d buy another one for the 470.

 

I bought an open box so they are making me jump through hoops before just letting me return for a refund. The latest is they are sending a new black decoder box, I'll try that but if it doesn't work I'll demand a refund and contact my bank claiming fraud.

That GROM unit looks interesting, wish I saw that before I bought this thing. It's a bit more money but I like that it seems as though it will maintain the ML system, although this claims to, it really sounds bad and the sub is non-existent
