Have a look on Kijiji, there is a dark grey 2006 GX at a salvage yard listed as being in Calgary.

Worst case scenario, a brand new armrest from MyLParts.com for $1,448.37 (Part No. 72830-60230) vs the $2,926 the dealer was trying to charge you.
Thanks! I checked the price for the rear armrest its still 1600 USD which is way too high. I guess now I just go and find a salvage car and try to get it

The 2nd row armrest could likely be found in a partout, there's the GXOR facebook group that would be the best place to find someone parting out a truck, you'll likely pay as much to ship as the part will cost going about it that way.

Welcome to the forum!
Thanks Ian ! This car was originally in BC and I saw the ad 2019 spring. This winter I searched the GX in Kijiji, autotrader and the car disappears and instead, a same-looking car appeared in Edmonton. I checked it out and the dealer asked for 14,595 after tax. Its really good to see people driving the same car here on the road haha. I will take a look at the fb group!

I got it, thanks. But service and complimentary drinks in Lexus Stealership is kinda great. Last I didnt even pay them any money and they still washed my car in n out.

If your interior is tan colored, the part # for the 2nd row armrest/cupholder is 72830-60230-A0. Punching that in google might bring you to a deal on a replacement.

I feel your pain about the cupholder! Mine was broken too when I bought it. I made a temporary fix with some Plexiglas I had lying around. Not pretty, but it worked! Yes, it's ugly orange so its visible and wouldn't get broken again. Then I found a guy on GXOR FB group dismantling a grey interior GX and I scooped up a replacement! Hardest part is getting the leather unzipped to get at the screws.

The temporary fix looks nice though! I went to the dealership and they removed the outsider part of the cupholder. After removing it, I heard a lot of noises coming out of the armrest when driving on bumpy road which is so annoying. Since most time I drive on my own so Im not in a hurry to find a new one but I just want to keep everything on the car stock haha.
