I noticed that both boots on the Rack and Pinion are leaking. It must be leaking very very slightly because it’s never dripping. Is it okay to drive it with the leak until it gets worst or does it need to get repaired asap? Is it leaking power steering fluid?

 

I would go ahead an make an appointment to get it fixed - you should be ok to drive it until then.

If a boot bursts, you won't immediately have a problem (beyond the ecological issue of dumping fluid into the environment). But you don't want to run dry, and you'll need some fluid to replace it to get to the mechanic. Check your owner's manual for the correct fluid to top-off. My 2004 says to use DEXRON II or III
