Hi Everyone!

i purchased a Grom Audio unit for my 2006 GX 470. Blame my own stupidity but I attempted to install it myself; I followed the steps and installed the proper cables - but when I try to start the radio(stock or grom) it says external system not connected. It still displays the Lexus logo as well as the info screen before going dark.

Does anyone one have any experience installing these? Any help would be great. I have an apt at a stereo shop, but spending 300$ For installation on a 650$ unit is not my cup of tea 😅😌
