If Lexus decides to go after the performance SUV market (alongside the Lamborghini Urus and Ferrari Purosangue), they'll need to pick a model to do it with.
All I'm saying, is that the GX has plenty of room to drop the V10 from the LFA into it due to the 1LR-GUE's narrow cylinder bank angle (72 degrees vs the 2UZ-FE's 90 degrees)
(and a couple of turbos and a dual-clutch transmission)
I don't think the GX is what you would call a performance vehicle. Its clearly been designed with offroad in mind and that shows from how it handles on the road. Lexus is working on a new Urus fighter though from a few articles that I've seen and I'm sure it will be nothing like our cars.
Hi Chip,
Reaching out to you as you often provide solid information. I have had the check engine light, and VSC lights on in my 2007 GX470 for a few weeks. I had a mechanic look into it and he said that everything is functioning fine, however, the lights may come back on after he resets them. The lights are back on. Any idea what the fix would be other than replacing the bank valves and other parts associated with error code P1442. Thanks so much in advance for any information!!
