Advice please
Bought an 2005 on Halloween and fell in love with it. Fast forward to Christmas Eve when a running deer decided to kamikaze my front grill. Total loss. 😠
Found another 2005 GX (with only 111,000) on my way to pick up yesterday am and my lender called to say no go. ? Scrambled and found another- this time s 2006 sport package. Bought on impulse in the middle of a freezing hail storm. Drove it back home 2 hrs in the rain and now my kdss light is on and tire pressure sensor blinks continuously. Had to turn around in an uneven gravely parking lot today and the vcs off and
central differential lights came on too. Have an appt tomorrow with my local non-dealer but trusty mechanic. Any advice on what I need to check to make sure all is well? Also, is there s way to tell (other than dealer records) if the 90,000 timing belt/water pump service was performed?
used the reverse figure 8 tip I found here and got the lights to go off. Still have kdss light, but now intermittently, more off than On. Wondering if my warm garage is helping. Ran the codes, only B2799, engine immobilizer, so guessing I have a new key? At mechanics, hoping to find out more.
