Shipping rims + tires - random question
Hi all
I have a bead on a 2nd set of OEM rims w decent tires--not a local sale. The question is how best to ship them - guessing 50lbs+ per wheel+tire?
Is this a bad idea?

I’m not sure on prices, but I bought a set of challenger wheels and tires off a guy once and he literally put a shipping label on the actual tire and shipped them just like that, no boxes or anything. Not sure if that’s a chance you want to take, but they arrived perfect.
Tires can just be shipped with a label taped to them (got some from Tire Rack that way once). But for the wheels you really want them to be double-boxed. Inner box, then bubble wrap, then outer box.
