Recently totaled my 2009 Gx470 and looking at a replacement. I found a 2006 that is in really nice shape and has everything that I would look for. It does appear that the screen resolution isn't as high as the 2009. Doing some research, it looks like for 2007 and up they introduced the 5th generation of the navigation system. Anyone know if it was only the software that was updated or also the screen itself?

Primary reason I ask is because I plan on upgrading to a v-line grom and would like to have a slighter high res screen.

^^ Yep. 03-04, 05-06, and 07-09 are the nav generations.
