It start when I try to fix a broken key by inserting the inside unit into another key (which has no inside unit). during the replacement I pushed all three buttons multiple times and find all windows and sunroof are all open. I try to see if the key works or not and find it cannot start. The security lights is blinking even without insert the key.
Is anyone know how to reset or turn off the security light?

 

This is the GX470 forum, not the RX forum.

This normally indicates the key transponder hasn't been coded to the car, but you said you transferred it over into the new shell, so it ought to.
I think a dealer visit is needed, as they'll have the software to code it.
