I am getting ready to do the seal and O ring. I saw it done both ways, read it was recommended one way. Im sure plenty have done itor now know what is the "correct" way (w/o removing the entire transfer case itself etc.) anyone chime in please SORRY!!! A.D.D kicked in! The shaft is left in the case or removed with the actuator????
