Vsc and check engine lights are on Took it to the dealer in Naples florida. He indicated that there is corrosion in electrical harness underneath car and quoted me $3500 to replace the harness !!
I need help. It is a 2004 with over 100 k miles
Can anyone recommend a local shop that knows these cars well for a second opinion ?

 

You're going to have to be a little more specific about where in the harness the corrosion is and what system(s) it's affecting.

 

It's affecting the transmission and the Windows. . The dealer said he would like to replace the harness underneath the engine and the transmission

 

man get a second opinion on that. these Lexus joints can't diagnose crap. They just want to spend your money until they replace the failed part

 

Anybody knows a good reliable mechanic in Naples Marco island area

 

Should not be any corrosion under a GX from Florida...
