Angry RSES Help!!!

Has anyone else out there had this problem while playing a DVD:

Some of my DVD's (seems like most of the Disney ones) when playing in wide screen (as opposed to full screen called pan and scan) have a black border all the way around the video, like the view has been zoomed out too much. normally since the LCD has the same aspect ratio as a wide screen TV, you can watch a movie in wide screen mode and it takes up the entire display. Even if you watch the movie in pan and scan, you only get black borders on the left and right of the screen.

To me it appears as if the screen needs to be zoomed in, but I can find not zoom function on the DVD controles.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

check and see if on the dvd's it says anmorphic or non anmorphic ... the dvds that have nonamporphic on them have coded black bars and the rses will play it like 4*3 in widescreen so it looks zoomed out :-/

In the DVD setup mode (in park put on front screen, touch the screen and DVD contols will come on) you can force wide screen mode, which will fit the 4:3 or non-anamorphic picture to fit the screen. It will distort slightly, but will fill the screen.
