I recently bought a low mileage 2007, and am wading in to the "let's make it cooler" phase of ownership. One of the first things I would like to update is the Nav / Audio interface and / or brains. I have looked at VAIS. Is that pretty much the state-of-the-art, or are there other options? I have old iphones (4, 5) lying around that I can dedicate to the effort, if that helps me. Things I would love to have are better and more useful maps, voice recognition, spotify access, etc.
