Only thing that has been replaced other than scheduled stuff has been a fuel pump. Going in tomorrow for full trans flush....I am committed.
I don't plan on going into the dealer to be raped by them if I can help it. That's why I want to determine exactly what the problem is and have it fixed.

But yes, I plan to get 300k out of it if possible.

I like getting raped by my dealer, at least the mechanic has a face and a name and I have access to him as well as the head tech guy. I get fed, given a loaner, they will use stuff I bought from Sewell. All in all a positive raping. Good luck.

Ok, so it does look like it's a leaky airbag (no shock). It's a very small hole, which doesn't always leak, which is why I'm having the problem intermittently. Going to replace both bags since I'm sure the other will leak at some point soon as well.

Thanks!

Aftermarket. OEM is too expensive.

Amnyone ever use Discount Body Parts? Prices are too good to be true. I called them and they discounted the price even further. A little skeptical.

Can find Arnott from Rock Auto for like $150 a bag.

Discount Body Parts = 4.6 stars on Google shopping, with 2800 ratings.
CarParts.com is a buck cheaper, with 4.2 stars.

Might pay more for Arnott if the bags are a pain to replace.

Hmm.

Also considering doing the coil conversion. I don't ever plan to tow anything and I don't regularly carry heavy loads so the leveling is not something I need. Saw a kit for $350ish but wonder about how the ride is.

FYI - I just purchased OEM bags for $175 each from a Lexus dealer off Amazon w/free shipping. For an additional $50 you might want to consider sticking with OEM.

Do you have a link to the bags? Looking at $150/ea from Rock Auto for non-OEM.

It appears they have 1 left in stock. Left and right have different part numbers. Since they are sold in pairs, I assume they have 1 left of the other part number.

Amazon.com: Lexus 48080-35011, Coil Spring: Automotive Amazon.com: Lexus 48080-35011, Coil Spring: Automotive
