4-way flasher issue
Hello all...
I have a problem as follows:
When I switch off the ignition, my 4-way (Hazard) flashers will often flicker rapidly, then turn on. If I switch the ignition back on, every thing is normal. Sometimes, it takes 20-30 seconds for the hazard lights to come on. I checked the 4-way flasher switch... it seems to work fine. Again, this only happens when the ignition is switched off. I am wondering if it's a bad ground or perhaps a sensor on the security system is bad?
For now, I just pulled the turn-hazard light fuse so I won't drain the battery or have the neighbors call to tell me my 4-way flashers are on.
Thanks in advance for any ideas!
Dana

Try disconnecting the negative terminal of your battery for 30-40 seconds and then reconnect it.
You'll have to reprogram the radio stations and auto-window settings afterward, but the computer will have been reset.
