Hello,
Is the tape deck supposed to light up at night? I have the Nav system with a tape deck underneath. Anybody ever changed the bulb if there is one?

The tape door will have a green glow light to show you where the door is. Its like an outline

 

who has cassette tapes anymore... I guess us old people...Lol

 

Yeah I know a tape deck is old times. I've just never had one that doesn't light up.

 

I've been meaning to stop by Goodwill and pick up a cassette to try mine out and see if it works.

Goodwill don't even sell them anymore...all I saw were CD's and DVD's

 

You can put a cassette adapter in that gives you a phone plug out and then plug that into your lear 8 track You know the one with the continuous loop tape. sounds really awesome !!! The first reel to reel in glorious mono sound

 

I think I do still have some 8 tracks in the attic...unless they melted like when you left them on your dash in the sun...lol
