Thanks for your feedback and tips. Are these the H3's for the fog lights? They're not 4700K, but I haven't been able to find those. You wrote that a friend got them for you in Japan -- are they available onlune anywhere?

arogers,
For the wedge bulbs (W-4), you need 2 for the license plate lights, 4 for the runninig boards 2 for the nighttime driving lights (8 total). And obviously, you need 2 H3s for the fogs and 2 M-9s for the turn signals. I will also change the reverse lights this weekend and I'll post pics and bulb types then.

arogers,
I forgot to include this info. Yes those are the type of bulbs. If you like, try www.autodynamic.com or http://216.82.69.117/transfer/produc...hite_bulbs.asp It seems to have the "newest" type of PIAA bulbs from Japan. There are the Plasma Spark Blue Series Bulbs http://216.82.69.117/search_results....=8&Submit.y=12 which they claim are rated at 7500K (?) and claim to be brighter not just bluer/whiter. They also sell Polarg Bulbs , I think for less than that website you were looking at. I've ordered from autodynamic and they are very responsive. HTH.

k,
Thanks. I got it from the dealer. It is a Toyota/Lexus genuine part. It came with very detailed instructions and, with the exception of tools, 3M prep sovent, 3M sealer and a lot of intestinal fortitude, all that is needed for installation.
Anyone know why this isn't a standard feature? It sure seems it should be. Maybe it will be standard in a later production model.?

Are you just replacing light bulbs in all these places with a different kind or is it a lot more complicated installation that that? Just wondering, I would like to do it, but not if it is a huge installation process. Thanks for any info, I appreciate it!
ray, as crazy mentioned, its a piece of cake. A quick, easy, inexpensive mod that, in my eyes, makes a BIG difference.
sorry: edited for clarity
ray, these are direct replacement bulbs. There is no modification necessary. If you get the right type of bulb, it is what is commonly referred to as "plug and play." It really is that simple. PM me if you need furhter info.
