Can the 2nd Row seats be taken out? I noticed than when you fold them forward it is not smooth. My dog likes to look out the window and she cant in the back area behind the 2nd row seats.

 

Sure, you can unbolt them. I don't believe there are any side airbags in them, so you shouldn't set a code by doing so.

There'll be some exposed steel where it was bolted to the floor.

I have seen dog owners in other vehicles put a platform in, replacing the rear seat. Their dogs then get a level place to ride and look out the window. They usually cover it with indoor/outdoor carpet. The climb-up height will be higher, of course.

Yep, they can be removed. Pop off the plastic covers at the floor and you'll see the nuts/bolts that need to come off. Pretty easy to do and gives a bit more space. I've removed (and reinstalled) them several times with no warning lights/codes.
