Side a/c vent removal?

Side a/c vent removal?
Does anyone have a DIY on how to remove the side air vents from the 1GX? I found instructions for the center vents but not the sides. The old pry and pull didn't work so I guess there must be a screw hidden somewhere. Please help!

Looks like screw #9 is the one. Guessing the 'wood' trim panel below the vent has to come off to get access to the screw.
