Default Alignment

I need to get the truck realigned. Is it a dealer only job or can I get it aligned at a local chain shop. I heard something about zero point calibration and saw a couple post saying it is do it with a simple 2 pin jump at the odb-2 port. They said it would work on all Toyotas and Lexus with VSC equipped. Can some one confirm this or is this a dealer job. I do have a Mac Tools code reader but don't know if it is capable of resetting the VSC.

First step would be to do the mechanical alignment. And then the zero-point afterwards if it is needed.

I would try and find an alignment tech that races, and tell him you want middle of the adjustment range if possible. Doesn't hurt to take some doughnuts or cookies to him either...
