Default HELP!!! Should I buy?????

I'm considering purchasing an '05 GX 470 with 70,000 miles. The truck seems to be in great shape and mechanically sound. A couple things I noticed are as follows: airbag suspension is not working in the front. When I tested the height adjuster, only the rear shocks raise and lower. I spoke with a Lexus service person about the cost to fix the issue with the front suspension and he said he could not give me a worst case scenario estimate to repair without looking at the vehicle (the vehicle is for sale by a non-lexus dealer). I'm hoping it's just height sensors or something that will not cost an obscene amount of $ to fix. Also, I noticed a 2" crack in the center of the dash between the gauge cluster and radio (I read on here that dash cracking is a common issue).

Besides those two issues, is there anything else I should look for before purchasing this vehicle? Do you think $18,200 is a fair price for this vehicle? Should I buy the vehicle not knowing what it's going to cost to repair the front suspension?

I appreciate any advice!

I could be mistaken, but I thought that the height adjustment only changed the height on the rear wheels.

Ride height is only in the rear, the front cannot be raised or lowered.

The crack in the dash is a big issue. $18,200 is a little on the high side but if you like it and it's been well maintained then go for it. Plug in the VIN here to view any maintenance records:

Welcome congratulations you will come to really enjoy your new ride if you buy the one you are looking at. I would for sure have a Lexus Master tech take a look at it as part of the deal prior to signing
The front are shock absorbers there not air bags ,The rear are air bags. Height controls relate to the rear You can adjust the shock absorber damper from the console mounted switch from soft to hard .Dash crack can be common I guess I am one of the lucky ones mines a 2004 no dash issues.

Thx for the input, guys. I'm very happy to hear that I was wrong about the front suspension in thinking that the height adjusted like the rear. I'm planning on buying the vehicle as it is a far better deal than any other that I can find. The local Lexus dealer has an '07 with all the options and 86,000 miles and they want just under $27k for it. Most of the '05's - '07's that I'm seeing out there are priced well above $22k with at least 8x,xxx miles.
