Default Can't get door panel back on....ugh!

Had a rattle in the right front passenger side of my '07 GX. Found a thread for taking of door panel. Result is rattle is fixed but I can't get the &$%^# top plastic fastener to snap. Also, the black weather stripping where window comes up is now bent, it's rubber but seems to have some metal in it.

Needless to say I am at a loss. Can a local body shop snap it together or do I need to make the long and expensive trek to my Lexus dealer.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Here is the Repair Manual take on the door part you mentioned, if this helps, let us know. this is the driver side, Most of the components are same except the switches part.

Default Thank you.

I appreciate the PDF. After a couple of hours and lots of sweat (did this in my garage in Mississippi) I took my GX to my local body shop. Turns out you need to "hang" it on the door first.

In any case, he kept the car for a few hours and had it looking good as new. Best part...he didn't charge me a dime. Don't see that too often. Wonder what the dealer would have charged.
