Default Dome / Map lights compartment removal

Hello
Has anyone removed that in order to get access to bulbs and wires?
Need +12V around that area and map lights looks like a best option.
Did search in the forum, found some in IS models but not sure if they are the same.
Thanks in advanced
:-)

That compartment simply pulls out. Start from the part closest to the windshield and pull down.

Once it's out, you'll have plenty of access to 12V

P.S. I like your Karlson picture
