I know the OEM plugs are SK20R11...does anyone know what the gaps supposed to be?

You are not required to adjust gap on iridium plugs.

Ive had iridium plugs before and the gaps were different on a few of the plugs. I just want to know what the gap should be. Do you know what it is?

without access to a service manual... I am going to venture to guess the de facto gap is 0.44 as irdium is spec'd and by its nature it cannot be gapped.

Thanks for bringing up the subject of plugs. Do you guys typically swap them out at the 100K recommended service interval IIRC?

Iridium plugs can be gapped, I had to gap 2 of them on my CTS-V.

Lexus says to change them at 120K service but it cant hurt to change them at 100K.

Get yourself an AllData subscription if you like wrenching on your own rig. Pays for itself after a repair or a maintenance job.

It is very rare that Lexus amends the OEM specs, as far as iti goes to my knowledge. Even if it is maybe a negligle difference.( + / -).
Are you looking to replace or adjust the gap to the existing one, And if so what is your current mileage.

Like I said.. Iridium plugs you dont gap them regardless. They are not regular plugs. Why you want to gap them anyways?

I just put in a set of NGK Iridium IX plugs along with NGK wires and I now have a pulsing idle and a flashing CEL.

My 1996 SC400 is now sluggish when accelerating and just doesn't feel like it has full power. I bought the plugs that were spec'd for my car and did not gap them.
