transmission fluid change

Default transmission fluid change

well i figured out a way to do fluid change without taking down the pan... just use a pump and suction out and then refill with pumper... any thoughts?

You can have a transmission flush done at a shop. Unsure of a way to do it your self.

well i have done transmission fluid change before... many many times on many different car types... the gx470 would be a cinch in comparison but not all car need pan removal as that is where the messy part is really... anyway you can always go to toyota to have it done...

the transmission is sealed after 2004 so where are you gonna suck and pump from?

The transmission isn't sealed. There is a refill plug and a drain plug as well as an overflow plug.

for the flush I'm assuming? the cooler lines at the radiator or extra cooler.


If there is a drain bolt, then its no problems, lol. Pulling a pan to drain is a pita and messy.
