Default Any Lexus-specific salvage yards?

Relatively newbie here on this forum, bear with me a little.

We have a 2004 GX470, and love it. It needs a bunch of little stuff, mostly interior parts, that are a little broken, but not totally unusable.
I really hate buying this stuff from the dealer for several reasons:
1) the nearest dealer is about 2 hrs away.
2) the severe wallet raping whenever I have been there.
not necessarily in that order.

Anyway, I have previously owned a bunch of VW's, BMW's, Mercedes, Porsche's, Toyotas, Honda's, etc.. and all of those makes have a good set of established salvage places for getting that miscellaneous stuff for a reasonable price. Also, the BMW/VW/Toyota/Mercedes forums have a really active group advertising cars being parted out, etc.. These are great resources for getting all those little piddly parts that I need.

No such luck for the GX.

I live in central MN, and recently went to Minneapolis and call virtually every salvage yard there. No one could help me.
I have looked online....no GX's being parted out.

So, anybody here know of a decent salvage source for GX parts? Know of a GX in your local salvage yard that I can help pillage for little stuff? Forum that has GX's being parted out?

Maybe the GX series is still too new, or too expensive, so the wrecked ones are all getting rebuilt? Or maybe no one ever has been able to damage a GX to the point of salvage, since it is such a great and safe vehicle?

Any help would be appreciated, and I think migh help others in the forum too.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Try searching EBay and just send a private message to the salvage parts sellers on there to see if they have what you're looking for. They usually don't list every single part that's in stock, just the common ones such as tail lights, radios, etc.

I ran across M&M auto parts out of VA on ebay. They were great to deal with, try contacting Jaspar. I know they had a couple on the lot.

You can check this website: www.car-part.com

They power all junkyards that use computers. It's basically their whole inventory online.

I think the reason you don't find too many parts in the junkyard is cause these GX's are still rather new, and expensive.
