1. How do you turn ON the screen if the back screen is off or if you hit the screen off button from the front.

2. I think I read somewhere yesterday that you can make the navigation appear on the rear screen, how do you do that?

 

Also, i've misplaced the remote. So if these questions can be answered without the remote, that would be great.

 

You need remote to do both.

 

I believe this is correct. Pretty poor design, remotes can be purchased @ Sewell
