Default rear console box light

I tried to do a search and couldn't find anything here or on google. The light is out on my rear console box and the manual doesn't show how to replace this light. Anyone have the steps to this? Thanks guys!

are you talking about the light in the center console between the front seats, the one all the way in the back of the storage box where the DVD player would be if you have the factory installed rear entertainment system? the cover (with the rear A/C control) literally pops right off and you can get to it by removing the screws that hold it in but the light is actually a few LEDs soldered onto a printed circuit board. i say this with confidence because i removed mine and put my own brighter LEDs in.

Yes, that one! What size is the LED bulb by the way?

i forgot the dimensions of the circuit board, i literally took it out and put in my own that i bought online. the one i put in was not a circuit board it's much bigger than the OEM one and has 2 rows of 6 SMD LEDs and has positive and negative wires. it took a little bit of modification to the area but i can easily put the original back in if i actually find it. here's a link to a thread i started last year to show all the stuff i put into my GX470. for some of the tougher ones i included brief explanations to what i did and how i did it. good luck.....it's actually really easy to do.

EDIT the light that i put in looks like this one but it's not just a PCB it's the lights inside of some sort of metal frame.
