Default Side Bar Lights "?"

I just noticed that the lights on the side bar on the drivers side not working. The other side works fine. Does anyone know if this a fuse issue or something else? Do two sides operate of separate fuses?
Thanks

Nopes, single fuse, since one side is working, it is not the fuse, check underneath if the harness is locked in completely, or just wiggle the wires. Once done, check the footwell area, the wiring harness comes from the chassis, they are sleeved blacked ribbed, just wriggle around and give it a shake down. if still not, need to check the wiring schematic, maybe you can take it up from there.

it's a possibility that the LED is dead. i replaced all of mine with bright white LEDs. it's a possibility that the wire powering the light has jarred loose.

if you decide to replace it it'll involve taking the door panel off and some soldering.

this is what the light housing looks like

this is what my door handle lights look like now with the white LEDs installed

this is what you'll have to do notice the size difference between the bulb that comes installed and the one i put in. it'll involve a bit of modification to the opaque lens but it's easy to do and it looks great.

Thanks for the illustrated help, but I was actually looking for the other lights. You wouldn’t happen to have info on those?

LOL!!!don't i feel silly!?!?!?! i did those too. you have to either lift the truck or just lay a piece of cardboard down and get your head and arms under the vehicle to access the bulbs. once you get under there you'll see something like this----> just feel around for the light assemblies on the outer extremities of the running boards. they twist out. have fun!

oh yeah...crappy picture but you can see that i put LEDs into the running board lights.
