Any owners that modify their GX470? Is the GX perfection as is? Our previous Lexus was a GS300, while ours was not heavily modified, there were several CL members that had done heavy mods.

Our GX did not come with a spoiler, so we may add that. We definitely want to add some kind of XM, and ipod inputs, but want them to look factory. We also definitely want the xpel for the front end.

Ours was a family vehicle, so the mods were limited to a nicer aftermarket stereo system, including a single sub, componet speakers in the doors, xm capable head unit, and ipod controls.

We also added a nice set of aftermarket 18" chrome wheels. We probably won't be adding any wheels to this one, they hurt the silky smooth ride of our old car.

 

We just added rear bumper ultra sonic obstacle detectors to our 2009. I was surprised this wasn't already on it (it's on my 2004 Jag XJ)
We found a local installer who made a very nice installation.

 

The sensors sound great, we could definitely use those. Any retailers you can recommend?

 

My installer used Rostra 4 sensor kit. We are very happy with them.
We had them painted by a body shop to get "factory" look.
