I have an 03 GX with about 175k miles on it. Its got every option including the nav and mark levinson system. Apparently, it seems that the first signs of wear for a vehicle are on the stereo system (or at least the way I use it) as both the driver and passenger front subwoofers have blown--badly. I also have a 2001 toyota land cruiser w/235k miles on it that has just had the same problem. I need to cut the chord on these things now because Im not spending tons of money for new speakers and I was wondering if anyone knows how to either remove the door or what the best way of going about this is. I wish the geniuses over at Lexus (or mark lev) would have put an individual speaker control in the car rather than just basic sound controls.
