Hi guys. I have sold my GS and am looking at the GX. 2 Questions for you. What do you guys use the low setting on the ride height for. Is it a highway thing to get a few extra mpg's? A lot of the pics on autotrader I see the setting is almost always in the middle. 2nd, for those of you that have rear DVD, do the kids have to use headphones to keep mom and dad from going crazy from hearing disney sing alongs for the 1000th time or does it allow for you to listen to the radio on the front speakers while the kids listen to the DVD in back

As for the ride height, you cannot drive at highway speed on the low setting. You can drive on the low setting at very low speeds for a short time before it resets to the default setting. It's good for any reason you need to lower the back of the truck down e.g. unloading, driving through a low ceiling garage (more for piece of mind for me) etc...

 

Is there a MOD thats been done that will keep the ride height at the Low setting at highway speeds?

 

Why would you want to do that? I have heard of CL members lifting their GX in the front, then raising it in the back and disengaging/locking the ride height in the "high" position to even it out all the way around. It would look pretty silly driving around permanantly with the ***-end sagging.
