Default Side View Mirror

My passenger side view mirror is broken but it is still in its housing. I haven't taken any pictures but i probably will if it is needed. But my question is, can i replace the mirror myself or take it to the dealership and what do you think they will be charging? Im pretty sure the motor itself in the housing is still in tact because i readjusted the mirror and everything works. I was thinking about buying a whole housing on ebay since they are pretty cheap but i don't know. Any feedbacks are highly appreciated. Thanks for reading

You can purchase just the mirror glass itself. Cost about $90.00. It's pretty easy to change if you want to do it yourself.
To bad it wasn't the drivers side that needed replacement, as I have a new one available.

If the mirror itself cost $90, I would buy the whole unit that matching color on ebay.

I have seen many mirrors on ebay for the passenger side but they're not the gold color that i need and plus they are 99.99 plus shipping but that is not much compared to what the dealer is probably going to charge. That is why i was just going to buy one that does not color match, take out the mirror and replace it with mine. But hey if they have one that color matches i wouldn't mind. Do you guys happen to have a guide or a link to one so that i can see how easy it is? I really don't want to mess with the car since it did cost me a fortune.

You could probably get the same mirror from a Toyota dealer for around $70.00. Just make sure to get the mirror which is heated since most 4Runners don't have heated side mirrors.
