You're right - that's why we moved from Atlanta, where my stop-and-go information was compiled, to Hilton Head Island Now, our only stop-and-go traffic is on Friday & Sunday (check-in & check-out days at the hotels).

I get as much as 20-21MPG on the highway on flat parts at about 67MPH, 16 or so in the city, overall...about 18. Not too shabby.

Keep in mind that the on-board mileage computer on the GX is pretty optimistic. I've tested >10 tankfulls on my '03 and the mileage computer is almost 2 MPG optimistic. You'll need to do the calculation the old-fashioned way to know for sure what mileage you're getting.

Currently the instrument panel is saying I've averaging 21.5 mpg. I've used up 3/4 of the tank and a little over 300 miles so I think if I were to do a fillup today and calculate it I'm guessing its probably 20 MPG.

I got the save gas thing to a science.

Local 40 miles per hour is earth friendly.

Highway - 55 or 70MPH.

Remember to coast to stop signs and stop lights. Accelerate down hill as much as you can, etc.

If everyone wants to know more, let me know.
