I have a 2007 GX470. Down near the shifter there a AUX plug. Does anyone know what its for? I was thinking it was a plug for an IPod, if so, where do i get a wire to connect???
Thanks in advance!

Yes you can plug an iPod, Sirius, XM or any other audio source that has a headphone jack-or even one's that have other audio outputs but that would require another cable.
You can but the cable at just about anywhere electronics are sold-Target, WalMart, but the best bet is Radio Shack or Best Buy.
I wish I had one of those in my GX, or even my RX that somehow left it out of the Gen 5 07 system!
I believe the wire is called an audio stereo mini-plug to stereo mini-plug (same on each end). They are fairly cheap inless you get the Ipod labeled version (it is amazing what Apple gets for standard wires, and don't get me started on how they try to non-standardize the video wire colors!). The same wire would be used to plug in CD players and lots of other sound devices.
The only bad news is that it is one way and is only an analog audio input (it uses your car stereo like headphones). So you can't control the IPOD or see what the IPOD is playing on your stereo system. But it is a lot better than the standard CDs that the previous systems could only play!
