Default Daylight savings time on clock?

Does our GX automatically adjust for daylight savings time for those with nav? I had to change the clock manually, and wondered why it didnt adjust since the nav has a calandar. Then again, i think because the nav has no connections to the dash clock, so its a minor annoyance. But still an annoyance... Especially when i have passengers wowed by all the GX features like finding the nearest Starbucks, but cant change the clock.

You're right. The clock isn't tied to the NAV system and therefore has to be changed manually. It would be a nice feature though.

It would only make sense for people with Nav. The Nav has a GPS, therefore there should be an atomic clock onboard.

As others replied, not connected, so doesn't adjust automatically.

However, if you have a Nav you can use the Nav hidden menu to see the exact time to the second, to manually set the clock very accurately.

Instead of hitting Override on the Hidden Menu (which everyone does to allow Dest entry while moving, etc.), hit the GPS button just above. Then you can see the UCT.
