On GX - it is under the passenger seat - you just fold back the carpet and you will see the DVD nav unit with the plugs over just behind the seat mount to the floor near the center of the car. You just unplug the 2 plugs on the unit and plug them into the coastal tech unit, then plug the coastal tech plugs into the unit. LX is probably the same, but I have not seen it.

I am on my second one as they seem to have a quality problem. I've been trying to get a replacement for about a month now with no response. It's a great product idea and I hope my replacement works ok but the latest problem is that is hits the Agree button almost every time I stop the car which actually hits the Mark button. As a result I have flags all over the city LOL.

Best of luck.

That is a bummer (unless you want to know everywhere you have been). Mine has been fine for about 5 months now with no issues.

I totally agree though - it is basically not possible to ever get a hold of anyone there or get the phone or email answered. I love the product and it does exactly what I wanted for reasonable money, but don't expect anymore then eventaully getting your product after you order it, which can be months and using it. Communications with them is nearly impossible!

A couple of days ago I actually had a woman answer the phone at Coastaltech and I asked her when the navigation enhancement with bluetooth will be ready for sale and she said another couple of weeks. I got the same response from her 3 months ago. They are definitely a fly by night shady operation. Buyers beware.
