When you replaced the stop lamps with LED's did you have to run any resistors to keep dash lights from giving errors or "lights out" messages?

Just curious, I had a BMW that I did the same thing to but we had to put resistors inline because the impedence of the LED was too low for the car to "see" the bulb.

No effect on the Stop Lights.

I also used LEDs on the Running/TurnSignal Lights.

No effect on the Running/TurnSignal Lights either. I think the reason being that I rewired the Prado Light Assembly so that the bulbs in the two clear lenses serve as Turn Signals, therefore, adding resistance to the circuit.

You are mixing apples and oranges. The LX has different tail light issues. The GX tail light has not changed from 2003 to 2007.

Hmmm.... very interesting... although I already ordered OEM one from Japanparts.com...
wonder if this one's really plug-n-play??? I'm not looking forward to re-wiring mine when it arrives...
