while looking at the 06 gx on the lexus site, it seems the front bumper seam to the fender flares on the 06GX is different than the previous models? guess there are some minor exterior redesign elements here...

...or maybe the photo is just distorted making what appears to be a different fender/bumper seam.

 

I had an 05 GX and now have an 06 GX, The only changes I've noticed are the addition of 2 coat hooks inside (with the 3rd row seat option) along with the nicely done leather covered parking brake handle and the front windshield has a dot matrix pattern up by the rear view mirror. This pattern is no doubt there to filter the sun because the 03-06 sun visors don't have the little extensions that you would pull out to block the sun that sneaks through around the rearview mirror. I'm sure they fine tuned the drivetrain some more but I can't tell the difference. The exterior looks the same to me.

 

Yeah, from what I've noticed its about the same. Just some very minor changes.

 

I can definitely see what you're saying in the "Build your GX" section, but I went on eBay and looked at some '06s, and the bumper/fender does seem to be exactly like '03-'05.

 

other than the Horse power I don't see any noticeable body changes.

2005 270 HP SAE @ 5,400 rpm; 330 ft lb , 447 Nm @ 3,400 rpm
2006 263 HP SAE @ 5,400 rpm; 323 ft lb , 438 Nm @ 3,400 rpm

 

Engine is the same, horsepower is the same... The "number" just being a little closer to the truth.
