Default Towing Subharness

Can anyone provide some definitive directions on where to find the plug for the brake controller subharness that Lexus provides in the glovebox? My dealer simply said 'we can't help you because of liability issues - it's under the dash and you're on your own".

Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

New to Lexus, but enjoying the experience...

The plug is located on the drivers side under the dash close to the transmission console. If I remember correctly, you may have to remove a part of the panel to access the cable bundle. After that you simply plug in the harness.

Thanks. I'll look again since I didn't find anything the first time I went exploring!
