Interesting. I saw an article about the recall yesterday and was interested because we own an `04 GX; however, the GX was not listed among the vehicles identified in that article. Assuming that the GX is affected, we owned should be receiving a notice in the mail from Lexus.

GXs are affected up to 04 only.

Look on the inside label driverside door for your manufacture date. Mine was built 01/04, so I guess I'm suppose to believe that Toyota changed/modified something between the end of 12/03 and the first of 01/04 and then they did not mention it for 1 1/2 years and now decided to have a recall because the front wheel might fall off with the parts they were using in 12/03. I would like to hear what Toyota changed 01/04???
